"Just back from a wonderfully calming and relaxing 5-day retreat in Cloona and it was just magnificent, far exceeding my expectations. The accommodation is very comfortable, warm and impeccably clean. Dhara does an amazing job of unobtrusively keeping things running according to clockwork without any sense of pressure; the food courtesy of Rose was only delicious; daily walks guided by Dhara led us through the beautiful Mayo countryside and down to the beach. The crowning glory was the daily 2 hour-long morning yoga session with the inspirational Caitriona. All in all a great experience for anyone looking for a holistic way of resting their exhausted mind and learning a few good techniques to take back to the fray!"
Energy Week does the trick
"I spent last week in Cloona for the 'Energy Week'. The environment is remote and unspoilt just 3 miles from Westport and close to both Croagh Patrick and Bertra Beach. The program of water, food and exercise helped to detox both mind and body. Dhara's guided walks included advice on how to walk properly and mindfully. Relaxing yoga classes from Catriona were amazing and fun. Hot lunches comprised of fantastic vegetable soups and vegetarian salads. The afternoons and evenings were spent on various treatments and sauna after dinner. With the relaxed no phone / tv atmosphere, beautiful countryside, great exercise and healthy food of Cloona is a unique combination that left me with lots more energy. Looking forward to my next visit."

"Last week was my second visit to Cloona, and already I´m looking forward to returning in the near future. The peaceful setting, simple but extremely effective program, rest, relaxation and pure spring water work wonders in just five short days.
Dhara and his team are caring and delightful. As well as providing an array of optional extras like reflexology, deep tissue massage and other healing treatments, the yoga and walking offer gentle but effective exercise. Not once did I feel hungry... Even on the juice fast day. Once again, I left with a spring in my step and a smile on my face...
