I recently had a back and Indian head massage at the spa at the River Lee Hotel. I love pampering and would say I have probably been to most spas in Cork .The service and the treatment outshone anywhere I have ever been before! Upon arrival the receptionist has to be complimented on her friendly bubbly manner. I also found her most helpful when booking. The treatments were amazing from start to finish. The therapist even asked how I liked the pressure of my massage which I loved! At the end we were brought to relax and given yogurt and water. I t was overall fab! I felt the therapists were outstanding and should be complimented. Overall 5 star service! The only thing I could fault is the surroundings. The relaxation room is very public and not very relaxing! Despite this I would most definitely will return again and again!

Both my friend and I recently stayed at the River Lee Hotel and paid a visit to the Spa there, we both had the L'lur balinese massage and it was fantastic. The most thorough massage I ever had and brilliant value for money. 75 mins to include a lovely foot soak which was very welcome after a day shopping! The only thing that let it down was the relaxation area was tiny and the beds were like sunbeds and it wasn't very private. Also we weren't allowed to go back to our rooms in robes, we were told the robes couldn't leave the spa and we had to get dressed again in our own clothes which took away from the 'relaxation' side of things as we would be used to going back to our room in the robes and chilling. Having said that we would definitely go to the spa again if we stayed at the River Lee as the staff were just lovely and range of treatments varied and excellent value for money.

I have been here a few times now and every time it is a wonderful experience. I look for excuses to go and visit cork city, to take advantage of the wonderful Escape Spa and a night in Jurys. I can not recommend this place highly enough. You won’t be disappointed.

I treated myself along with colleagues last week to City Escapes; I could not believe my eyes when I saw it on the website, a back massage, facial manicure and pedicure for €99! Seriously, I had to try it for this value. The spa itself has unreal décor, visuals on walls and doors were really unique, and our therapists were really friendly and very informative.
I was skeptical about the treatment as I thought there must be a short cut with a package for that price, like a lot of places do! But nope full package 2 hours 30 mins approx and it was well worth it.
All of us agreed that it was good value for money in this climate; I know where to get my Christmas presents from, a must for anyone in need of a treat. Thanks to all and see you soon.

Visited the spa last week with my friend for the City escape package(we started with a back massage (both therapists were fantastic) then a facial then manciure and pedicure.

absolute heaven, we stayed in the relaxation for ages afterwards with a fruit bowl and water. we were offered more after we devoured:)

will definitely be back for my 40th in the next few months

thanks to all at urban escape from start to finish it was an absolute treat!

i visited cork recently for a family reunion with my partner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel and we attended the spa for treatments and were spoiled to the last, our therapists were very friendly and professional and went the extra mile with the service they provided, I received a massage that included a foot soak and it was amazing my wife received a wrap. they were a credit to the place,the premises were clean and lovely decorated and i would recommend it to anyone opting for a trip to cork.

I visited the Spa at the beginning of May. I had booked another hotel but their spa was full and they recommended Urban Escape, I spoke with a very helpful lady on the phone who was very informative and accomodating. On arrival I forgot where I was going and when I asked a Hotel staff she sent me in a roundabout way to get to the spa via leisure centre, eventually I arrived and very stressed at this stage but my therapist Aine Marie made me feel relaxed within minutes, I had a lovely massage, facial package and It was just what I needed. Thank you for making my stay in Cork. The only gripe I have is that the Hotel doesn't advertise it more as I would recommend it to everyone as the Hotel is ideally located. Ill be back Urban Escape on my next trip to cork.Thank you!

This is the second time iv visited this spa and had an amazing experience both times, beautiful decor, treatments are pure bliss and the staff are fantastic so friendly and informative. I will be back!!

I had the Oxygen facial after seeing it reviewed a few times. From arrival to departing the experience was amazing not only the amazing decor but the staff we so informative and friendly it was one of the few treatments where I noticed a difference straight away and even more so the day after. I have booked in for a course. Here is to a younger me and what you have now converted me to a loyal and regular client. Keep up the good work

I was in cork on a conference meeting and i was staying in jurys, I met a staff member on arrival at reception and she suggested getting the Lunch Break Offer. I was a bit apprehensive as i wouldn’t get treatments done regularly. i got a 20 min back massage and an o2 shot and lunch, incredible staff and price to match it. I’m already booked in on my next visit

Was staying in jurys last week on a hen night and we got treatments in the new urban escape. We were wined and dined to the last with champers and endless supply of fruit. The staff made us fell special we all got treatments done the whole 12 of us amazing we will be back.

relaxation with style. i visited urban escape about a month ago with a friend and i have to say this spa was wonderful. although the spa is compact it has everything that one needs. from the decor, music,friendly staff and gorgeous products id highly recommend this spa and i will be returning the next time I'm down in cork

I went for a treatment there last week and have to admit I was shocked. It wasn’t what I expected at all. The decor is fantastic and the treatment was the best I ever had. 10 out of 10 for staff and the balinese massage. I will be back.
