Laser hair removal fiasco

I went to Therapie on Molesworth Street for laser hair removal (Upper lip & bikini line). They explained the technology (Plasma laser hair removal) to me and had me convinced that this was the solution to my dark hair problems. For each session I was treated by a different technician. No one person followed my progress. On one occasion the girl burnt me badly with the laser & I had tiny blisters on my upper lip. After six months the full course of treatment was complete I couldn't see any difference. The treatment in both areas was unsucessful. The staff (including the manager) were unapologetic & rude when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I have since learnt that the plasma technique does not work & they may as well have shone a torch at me. I have met others who have had the same experience. I have since had successful hair removal in another salon using ellipse IPL hair removal.

Had the eve lom facial here after year's of denying myself. Fabulous! Very relaxing atmosphere (even though you're in the middle of town) and fantastic products. Costs are as expected, but come on how often do you treat yourself??? Great recommendations for products that suited my skin specifically and really pleasant staff which was a great surprise as the inner city salons tend to hold snobbish characters - not so here! Lovely would definitely go again and recommend it to a friend
