I have stayed at the Monart on a number of occasions now and each experience never disappoints. From the moment those electronic gates close behind you as you drive up the drive to the Monart entrance door it feels you are totally closed off from the humdrum of life. The staff are fabulous, professional but not in your face, the spa facilities are excellent and open quite late which is refreshing. The Spa is 5* and the service meets all standards. After two/three days you feel you have been away for a week and an added bonus, no children allowed. The Monart to me is a 5* Spa with a hotel whereas the rest in our country are hotels with a spa (well, what they call a spa!!) Keep up the good work and I look forward to my next visit already.

Having been promised much, I was dissapointed that the experience didn't live up to my expectations. Hotel staff are lovely, but when we made our way to the Spa, the receptionist there couldn't be bothered to deal with us, prefering to continue her obviously personal telephone call. After being ignored for several minutes, we attempted to make our own way around the spa.
We decided afterward to speak to the Manager, who made his concern for customer care obvious by dismissively thanking us for bringing the matter to his attention, without asking either our names or room numbers. I must add that the following day, the treatments booked were wonderful and the staff extremely pleasant, but unfortunately this wasn't enough to erase the previous days experience. I won't return here again.

Have stayed here 3 times - and my most recent visit was as wonderful as the previous two. Staff, facilities, treatments and food were wonderful. Only problem was having to leave! Have just booked another trip for my parents and sisters - they cannot wait.

The Monart experience is a package of superb facilities, excellent staff, wonderful food and very good treatments (optional extras). Two days here will ensure you go back to the real world fully re-energised. I almost look forward to the challenging weeks ahead at work so I can plan my next escape to Monart!!

I stayed in Cookman suite with my Mum and had a fabulous time. I found the staff especially on reception to be helpful and friendly. It's a place to leave your worries, stresses and mobile phone at home!

Monart is pure escapism, from the moment you arrive. The spa area is beautiful; so peaceful and relaxing. The staff are attentive without being overpowering. One of the best things is being able to stay in your robe all day, without feeling any compunction to dress!
The Pevonia facial was the best I have ever had. Food is also excellent and the rooms are decorated in a restful style.

This was my 2nd visit to Monart & I cannot wait to return. Set in a lovely rural setting from the moment you are greeted at the door you switch off from the stresses of modern life with your every whim catered for by the fantastic staff. A bathrobe and slippers are all you need as you savour the delights that Monart has to offer. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Food is excellent and the service superb. Spa facilities are excellent and spotless. Treatments available are the best I have ever had. I would recommend the Moor Mud Wrap Dry Float. So relaxing I fell asleep. If it is a relaxing break you are after I would highly recommend Monart Destination Spa.
