I was at the spa as a hotel guest . From the moment I stepped out of the lift I being to relax. It was by far the nicest spa I've been to in Ireland.

I was looking very much forward to my treatments at the Fota Spa, but have to say I was left feeling very dissapointed! The Spa is incredibly beautiful, but on both my treatments I was cut short of 15 minutes. I had booked in for a facial and hot stone massage. I think when you are paying the top prices for these treatments, you expect ALL the time you booked and paid for.
I left a complaint form, but never had any feedback.

Having been to other spas in the past I was looking forward to the experience but it was better than I had imagined as soon as I arrived I began to relax. The atmosphere and staff were fabulous. I had a seaweed wrap and a hot stone message, in between these I relaxed on gorgeous beds in the sanctuary with fruit, juices and up to date magazines while enjoying the gardens. I enjoyed every minute I thought the temperature of the rooms was just right for me and thought that both therapists couldn't have been more friendly or efficient. I just can't wait for my next visit.

Cold Treatment rooms

I experienced three treatments in November in this spa and each treatment room was cold, no heating turned on. Relaxation room has a small electric blow heater turned on. Treatments were good but the cold rooms ruined the experience. This is not what one expects in a Sheraton hotel. I did make my feelings known but nothing was done about this.
Quite disappointing, and the treatments here were a little on the high side I felt.
I could not fault the staff though who were very pleasant and friendly.

I can't actually describe how much I enjoyed my time at the spa. The decor is beautiful. The lighting is incredibly relaxing and the staff were exceptional. I'm not really a 'spa person' but I relished every minute.
We felt hugely welcome. The lady who took care of me was absolutely lovely. I had a body scrub and hot stone massage. After each treatment we had fruit, water and juices in the 'Sanctum', where we looked over a Japanese style garden and watched the wildlife. The only thing I could fault was the garden and that's probably only because I'm a garden designer! I could not fault the experience, the ambiance or the service.
